Watch with English captions a few times, then with Hebrew captions, then without captions, and see what you understand.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Intermediate learners

Watch without captions, pausing to write down what you hear (even if it sounds like gibberish). Then watch with Hebrew captions to correct yourself. Then with English to confirm you understood everything.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Advanced learners

Watch without captions, then with Hebrew captions, then with English as necessary.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

parvar

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Transcript of English subtitles[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Hi friends
I wrote that the word פרוור – suburb
is not from a Semitic root
it’s probably a blend of something in ancient Greek
with something else in ancient Persian
one can imagine the ancient Persians
saying the word פרוור like this:
parvar
although this is probably not exactly how their accent was
but one can imagine
well, that’s all friends, see you later
