A colorful way of saying that something shouldn’t be taken lightly, in Hebrew, is לא הולך ברגל  – literally, doesn’t go by foot.

For example:

A house plant that blooms inside an office is not something to be taken lightly.

In other words, this object – or idea, for that matter – doesn’t move around by itself, but rather demands attention and respect.
