The Hebrew word for womb is רחם, as in:
אין לה תינוק בבטן, יש לה תינוק ברחם.
She doesn’t have a baby in her stomach, she has a baby in her womb.
רחם is also the three-letter root of רחמים meaning mercy, an emotion felt particularly strongly by mothers.
