Olim Courses

Being Israeli is a state of mind

In Israel, it’s not just what you say, it’s how you say it. After our program you’ll have both the language and the cultural nuances to become besties with even the toughest clerks at Misrad Hapnim (and get that document you need) – all through small, intimate classes around your schedule, and exactly right for your level.

Free Ulpan for New Olim!

Ulpan La-Inyan is one of the few private, 100% government subsidized ulpan programs. Pay up front, and with regular attendance, the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption will send you reimbursement payments to cover the cost in full.

The Ministry of Immigrant Absorption (Misrad Haklita) has determined that the student pay 7500 NIS upfront for the course, present paperwork to Misrad Haklita (paperwork provided by Ulpan La-Inyan), and receive reimbursement according to the following schedule:

  • 40% (3000 NIS) approximately one month after the course starts.
  • 30% (2250 NIS) about halfway through the course, upon presentation of student attendance records- 60% attendance required.
  • 30% (2250 NIS) after the completion of the course and the final exam. Students NEED NOT pass the final exam to receive their reimbursement. 80% attendance required.

A few more details:

  • Students may cancel their registration up to one week before the course begins. Once the course starts, there is no option to switch between classes or cancel registration.
  • The full program reimbursement will be paid only to those who participated in the entire program or at least 80% of it.
  • At the end of the course, students must take a final exam administered by the Ministry of Absorption to receive their full reimbursement. Students need not pass the exam to receive the reimbursement.
  • Should students leave the country during the course, their reimbursement schedule becomes frozen until they return and notify the Ministry of Absorption of their return.
  • Attendance of online classes while abroad does not count towards the 80% minimum.

Disclaimer: The criteria for this benefit were set by the Israeli government. Ulpan La-Inyan has no say in eligibility, number of hours rendered per group size, or payment/reimbursement procedure.
