לְהַעֲבִיר אֶת הַזְּמַן

To pass the time in Hebrew is the same as to pass the time in English: להעביר את הזמן .

For example:

לא כיף להעביר את הזמן במרפאה.

It’s no fun to pass the time at the (medical) clinic.

להעביר is a הפעיל verb of the root ע.ב.ר .
