how to say “the present” in Hebrew

So we’ve seen futureעתיד , and pastעבר . What about present? That’s הווה .

The past has already passed and the future is still far away – now is the time to make the present sweeter.

You may recognize the basic idea from the popular “yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, which is why we call it the present.”
