Some things are punctual, like trains in Switzerland and news broadcasts on the Israeli radio:
קול ישראל מירושלים שלום רב, השעה שתיים והנה החדשות.
Voice of Israel from Jerusalem, hello, it’s two o’clock and here’s the news.
But sometimes the exact time doesn’t matter so much. For example:
אנחנו נגיע בסביבות חמש.
We’ll be there (we’ll arrive) at around five.
In this phrase, בסביבות literally means something like “at the surroundings of.”
