The Hebrew word for flavor is the same as the one for taste – טעם
.
In context:
איזה טעם גלידה אתה הכי אוהב?
What ice cream flavor do you (a male) like the most?

Since that’s such a useful question for icebreakers, here it is when asking a female:
איזה טעם גלידה את הכי אוהבת?

If you want to say “flavored” the adjective, the word is בטעם
.
In context:
אני אוהב גלידה בטעם פיסטוק.
I (again, a male) like pistachio-flavored ice cream.

To taste is לטעום
, a simple verb.

And since flavors give a sense of vitality, Hebrew uses the same word – טעם
– to mean purpose or point, as in:
יש עדיין אנשים אצלכם? יש טעם להגיע?
Are there still people at your house? Is there a point in coming? (spoken to more than one person)
