The Hebrew word for regime is משטר, which sounds a lot like משטרה – police. The two words are from the same root, ש.ט.ר, the idea of the rule of law.
This weekend – over Shabbat – the conditions started being set for החלפת משטר – regime change – in Iran, with the elimination of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and some of his henchmen.
