In 2008 I founded a Hebrew language-learning program, an אולפן
(ulpan), that would shift the industry of Hebrew instruction from bookish academic study to practical conversational-skill training. The idea was to stop beating around the bush and instead get straight to the point. I named it אולפן לעניין
– Ulpan La-Inyan.
