שַׁכְחָן

The word לשכוח

means to forget, as in:

שכחתי לקחת את התרופה שלי.

I forgot to take my medicine.

Someone forgetful is שכחן

if he’s a male and שכחנית
if she’s a female.

For example:

היא כזאת שכחנית שאפילו לנעול נעליים היא לא זוכרת.

She’s so forgetful that she doesn’t even remember to put on shoes.

שכחן ends with ן-

, which indicates that the person is known for this quality. The same ending appears on words such as סקרן, סקרנית
– a curious person, and בשלן, בשלנית
– a (non-professional) cook.
