how to say “garbage can” in Hebrew

The common Modern Hebrew word for garbage or rubbish is זבל

For example:

Danny, take out the garbage!

But historically, זבל referred specifically to fertilizer of animal droppings. The more generic term for waste, from Biblical times and on, is אשפה

Then there’s פח

Throw it in the bin.

…but historically referred to scrap metal, of which waste bins were once made.

So how do you say garbage can or rubbish bin in Modern Hebrew? Either פח אשפה, פח זבל

(You) can buy a garbage can at a houseware store.

…or simply פח.
