קוֹלֵעַ
If someone describes a situation perfectly or tells a joke that hits the mark, they are being קולע
.
In its literal sense, the root ק.ל.ע
means to weave or to sling (like an archer). When you say a comment is קולע
, you’re saying it hit the target right in the center. You might hear people say קליעה למטרה
to describe a “bullseye.”

His response was really spot on and funny.
