How do you say launch in Hebrew? Depends on what you’re launching.
If it’s a space shuttle or other physical projectile, the word is שיגור , which comes from the פיעל verb לשגר.
For example:
הפסיקו לעת עתה לשגר רקטות מעזה.
For now, they’ve stopped launching rockets from Gaza.
But if what you’re launching is not physical – such as a book campaign or a new website – use the הפעיל verb להשיק.
For example:
ביום חמישי שעבר, השקנו אתר חדש.
