She has spent one year traveling all over Australia and New Zealand, and now enjoys teaching Hebrew at Ulpan La-Inyan, and welcoming people to Israel and teaching them “Israeli secrets.” She also speaks French, Spanish, and some Arabic.
Shana now lives in Ramat Beit Shemesh but was born in Memphis Tenessee and made aliyah when she was 4 years old. She also spent 4 years in Houston Texas with her husband and children. After making Aliyah herself, Shana is able to use that experience to understand and appreciate how our students left so much to live in Israel. Idit has always loved to give back, help others, keep learning and interact with other people so teaching
Idit is from Jerusalem and now lives in Modin where she teaches many of our classes. She has a Bachelors of Education in Jewish Studies and English and a Masters in Tanach. She knows both Arabic and Aramaic which helps her understand the Hebrew language from a broader perspective as well as some French, German, Yiddish, and Spanish.
